Ideal location in the north Georgia mountains, just over 1 hour from Atlanta

5 miles west of Ellijay within approx 1000ft of Rte 282.

Just over 1 hour to 285 in Atlanta [ring road around the inner city area].  From Ellijay to Atlanta it is all highway [at least 4 lanes].  Rte 515 out of Ellijay, becomes I 575 which in turn joins I75 leading into Atlanta.

Ellijay is located northwest of Atlanta in the foothills.  It is one of the best examples of an old town successfully revived complete with town square and boutique style shopping.  It is becoming very popular with Atlantans, Floridians [Florida half-backs] as well as the retiring baby boomer set.   Easily accessible from Atlanta it is a center for natural outdoor recreational pursuits such as boating, fishing, canoeing, white water rafting, and hiking.
Gilmer Co has only one sub-standard golf course and the County is encouraging the owners of M’Town Creek to offer championship golf.
